It is not important how long you study but how you study. It is best to start studying for a test a week or two in advance and just study about 30 minutes a day or one chapter a day. It really helps to make flash cards or a story in your head to help you remember facts. Your brain will understand information better if it can connect it with something you already know.

When school is in session, about 6 or 7, but when it is break or the semester is over, I review my notes each day for about half an hour. When I was in high school, I studied about 2 or 3 hours a day.
