What's the best place on the web for a non coder to learn PHP? Best=most comprehensive and easy to understand

I just go strait to the source and use http://www.php.net/

I am told however, that http://www.w3schools.com/ has some good php tutorials. I haven't used them however.

my frieend i would surgest learning a simpler language at first, try small talk, HTML or visual basic first

go to a proper college for best results
