two choices, and you actually can do both immediately....
begin actively searching for other employment
and
reach some understanding with your boss, and work it out. if you disrespect his/her work then try to find some other attitude that's productive, if he disrespects your work, find out why, ask him/her

You've got senority so I would talk with upper management if the new guy is disrespectful or treats you wrong. If you absolutely can't stand where you are anymore, and you have no hope of the problem being fixed, I ~strongly~ recommend you finding another job before quitting this one you have now. That way you don't lose any money coming in while looking for the next place to go.

If you have just started to work together, I would wait and see. I have had new bosses come in before and struggled to learn to work with them but they became some of my BEST bosses. But if this has been an ongoing problem, I would quit before it got worse. That way you can use your current job as a reference when you apply somewhere else. ALWAYS leave on good terms so that isnt a problem!

The Champ here.
Hey dont freak out! Just confront him about the matter... if not alone, with all ur colleagues!
Make sure that all of u voice your opinion and make him understand ur problems! Also try and understand his problems too. It must be a two way communication right?

He is your boss. Try doing things a little bit better and do things before he tells you that way you will get on his good side. If that doesn't work -scream-"I quit" that always works

Speak to an HR representative for your company to see what they suggest. Start looking for a new job and if it becomes absolutely unbearable, then quit.

I think you should talk to him about it. Maybe just email him and tell him how you feel in the email. It's better that you tell him. Maybe you should complain to the head boss. Then he or she could handle it.
