Why is it that when you want to see an R-rated movie or a porno you have to be at least 17-18 years old, yet when you want to purchase a CD that has vulgar or graphic lyrics, there is no age requirement? (at least not in any record store i've ever been in)

i would say because pornos and movies with nudity and sex (which is pretty much any movie) can put images in your mind. that's not pleasant. cds aren't as bad because they're just words....unless you have a REALLY good imagination......or if it's a rap.
