A/C is simply a fridge working differently. If it does NOT blow out cold air it is not working. But is it just possible that a switch position is wrong or some other control such as an air flap. If you know how to find the A/C matrix, try to get a temp reading off it

I'm assuming "the a/c motor works" means the compressor is engaging and turning fine.
The system MUST be evacuated prior to charging it with freon(134a). The correct amount of refrigerant MUST charged. The correct amount of oil MUST be injected.
If you have done this and it still doesn't cool. The problem would be the orifice tube or expansion block, depending on the make of automobile.

A/C system need first to be "evacuated" then "recharged" with freon. Just because the compressor still kicks on and off doesn't mean that the system if full of freon. Did you check it with a gauge?

When that happened to me there was a cable connected behind my cd player that had been disconnected. I had turned the vent wrong and the cable unscrewed. Took five minutes to fix.

Re-gas the air-con? Check your air-con pathways though your firewall.

have it brought in to an a/c shop, it's either the compressor, the accumulator and the condensor.
