Your only chance is to undelete the archive files.. there are lots of recovery programs out there at various cost (and reliability) you could try this free one http://www.pcinspector.de/file_recovery/UK/welcome.htm
archive files are stored by default here:
C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\Profiles
which is the place to start looking for deleted files..

CLick the recycle bin button on the desktop and under the tab that says Recycle bin task click restore all items or click the other one and the thing you want to restore

You can download a program such as FreeUndelete at http://www.officerecovery.com/downloads.htm and run it. But be aware that if you save any files to your computer (including the undelete program) it may overwrite the deleted and files and make them unrecoverable.

If they're deleted from the bin,they are permanently gone

Get Norton GoBack. Once you delete it, Norton can recover it. But now, you're toast until you get GoBack or similar program...
