i am 8 weeks and I am cranky most of the day...
I try not to be but every little thing is getting on my last nerve, and I am not like this. I am a very sweet person, so when I just lashed out on my boss, the lady at the bank and my mom I feel SOOO bad. But I can't control it. Its like my fuse is all way down.
And I am so emotional at night. I cried over a stupid commercial about dog food and how its what they deserve. It sucks so bad. I don't know what to do.
I don't want want people think I am turning into a B***h, but I can't help it. I hope this goes away soon. I have tried thinking good thoughts even putting on soft calming music and candles at work but nothing is helping the fact that I would like to smack the s#*t out of almost every person that comes into contact with me.
I HOPE THAT IT GOES AWAY REAL SOON.
Oh and my bf is having cravings for food and I am not. He is on a search for "something good" which he hasn't found yet. HaHa HaHa

I have went threw this three times.I am a mother of three and I remember when I was pregnant my husband said my mood changed like the wind.I didn't think I was acting to bad but he disagrees. He was very supportive and sometimes he would act like he didn't know what to do for me.Just make sure that your boyfriend goes with you to your Dr's appts because that will help him understand that you can't help it and your tring to be alright. Good Luck.

It's normal for you to have those mood swiongs. It's because of the hormonal changes that take place in your body due to yoru pregnancy. Both you, and your bf should read a little more about the changes that take place during pregnancy, so you'd both know what to expect. Good luck

My hubby put on wait and got more moody than me. I think it's stress of not being able to relate very well to our experience but having to be there for us anyway. Thats a tough job for any of us. :)

Yeah, it's hormones. Practice reversing the effect by thinking of the happiest thought or feeling you have ever had in your life. Add to those every day. It helped me. I started having more uncontrollable laughter or happy moments and less of the crying episodes. :) Good luck and CONGRATZ!!

Darling, the mood swings scare them because they don't know what to do.

Men are problem solvers. They like to have a clear cut answer for any problem...so when there's no actual problem, there's no clear cut answer and that freaks them right out!

But don't you worry. This is all temporary and you'll be back to your old self soon.

Sweety, he doesn't understand. You have to explain to him that you are pregnant and you will cry when he least expects it. He either needs to leave you alone or be extra sweet, whatever you want. He just needs to be told not to get mad because you are emotional.

Men just don't know these things automatically, they have to be told. If he cares about you, he will respect your wishes and at least try to be understanding.

Its called out of control hormones...you cannot control anything. Its hard to make a man understand...try getting him a book on dealing with a pregnant wife.

Honey, it's just your hormones. They are whacked out due to your pregnancy. Call the Dr if you are that concerned, but I think he will say the same thing. Hang in there, everything will level out with time.
