Do you know anyone who does this???

Question

I have a friend who has this habbit of telling people a story that happened to me and passing it off as his own when Im sitting right in front of him.....is he just confused or is he trying to piss me off??
I never say anything as I feel it would make me look pathetic to object to his story, but he seems to get credit for things i have done?????

Hi, i had a friend like that, it did my head in, so i confronted her about it and she never did it agian. The best thing to do is to get him to one side, and just say 'how come you take my stories and make them your own' If he doesnt say out, just tell him that you dont appreciate what hes doing and it annoys you to think that a friend would do that. He might be shy and not know he does it, it could just be away of him trying to make a conversation and he seems to think what you say is cool so he will give it a go. Not realising it is making you angry. You have got to let him know. Because if you tell the same story it make you look like you are in the wrong,

Well, sometimes I have a bad memory and I forget who told me something. Maybe your friend has the same problem.

You'll never know for sure unless you talk to him. But don't talk to him when he's telling the story, just talk to him later when you're alone. Say something like, "Hey, man, I felt bugged when you told that story about because you made it sound like it happened to you and it really happened to me."

If it's an honest mistake, then forgive and forget. If your friend is really trying to make you angry, then that's something else about your relationship that you'll have to think about, I guess.

if ur frend is doing it 3 to four times then he must be taking fun out of u. but if he is doing it too many times then he must have a habit. u talk to him about this matter when both of u r alone. dont let him slip off the topic or become funny at tht time. make him speak the truth.

Thats quite funny! he obviously doesnt have much of a life and thinks hes boring people so hes using things youve done instead so people think hes funny and not as sad and boring as he really is lol! x

He is an attention seeker, a liar and a fake. He is making you look and feel bad. You should ditch him. Toxic ppl are never good to keep around. He is no friend of yours and he is boring. Boring ppl always borrow other ppl's lives.

my sis does the same to me , but more when i was 5yrs of age we were walking up our road an my dad had hold of my hand i said to him when i die dad will you hold my hand he said yes of course i will princess, he always called my sis queen, an she still tell everyone she said it , from that day to this, lol am 36 now ,so i know how you feel,
