I agree with, durhotimitoyea in that you get what you give. And if you really are willing to selfless, you will see some incredible results.
Oh, and I have seen studies that show that married people tend be healthier, live longer, and have a greater sense of well-being...That goes for the husband and the wife.

Ask not what she can do for you, but what you can do for her! It's no good any man entering into marriage if all they're intererested in is what they can get out of it; that's a recipe for disaster. Men need to lose their egos and their selfishness for a good marriage. (And that goes for women too!).

what you get from marriage is dependent on what you are willing to give to it. coming from a broken home and being born out of wedlock, i took the decision to give my kids and home the best. i decided to take action and get joy from my own marriage and to pray constantly for my kids to have joy and success in all they do.
men need to understand the vital role they play in the development and success of their marriages. as a leader in the home, men decide what path they ant their family to go. If you want joy, give joy. its that simple.

If it's the right relationship a lot, all bound up in getting to spend your life with someone who makes you incredible happy.
And a longer life too, statistically married men live longer than single ones. (And no, it's not just that it feels longer!)

Just the same as what's in it for women ...your own live in sex machine!!! of course being able to share life with someone, raising children having a helpmate in what ever you want to do in life always knowing someone got your back , love and commitment ....

Love and commitment, sharing life with a best friend, happiness, contentment, honesty, faith, traveling, family, and just plain fun. At least that's what it's like for my husband and I.
