Ah, it joins the list of unanswerable questions:

Why is the sky blue? Why are Scots miserable? How old are the hills? Why are Americans arrogant, ignorant and idiotic? Why is the grass green? Why do French people never wash? Where do stars come from? Why do Welsh people like sheep? Why are people racist? Why do Brummies have irritating accents? Where do babies come from? Why are Aussies mad? What were you and mummy doing in the bedroom last night? Why are Chinamen short? Why does nobody like me? Etc, etc...

Disclaimer: The above answer was heavily sarcastic, and I do not actually agree with any of the above, they only serve to show that people can make stereotypes and generalisations about any group of people. If you did not get the sarcasm you are an idiot.

I'm not a scouser, but I have worked with them both in Liverpool and in many overseas places, I think they are the salt of the earth!
As some one has already said, perhaps its just you they don't like? I'm starting to find sympathy with them!
Hope this helps??

You must have met some odd Scousers, they are such lovely people and so friendly, give me a Scouser any day, they know how to have a damn good laugh and are total pussycats.

yep, got to agree with you... your question reminded me of all of them that i knew.... thank god that's over!....
i think they were agressive because they figured fairly quickly that i wasn't one of their kind....... take that to mean whatever you like!!
i just figured they don't like/trust outsiders? but they seemed pretty insecure.... didn't have much i guess. the most irratating ones were usually small drunkish ones- they seemed to quite fancy the idea of taking on a 6ft4 16 stone male.... bloody odd really.....
