Good grief! Israel is on its own against an assortment of countries that are backing Hezbollah: Iran, Syria, even Russia.
Who benefits from this? Fundamentalist extremists who will fight until they all die, and those enemies of Israel who sit back and watch Israel depleting its resources against these nuisance organizations. These groups want to decrease Israel's wealth and economic power so they can compete more easily.

First of all, they are not attacking Lebanon. They are fighting Hezbollah militants who choose to fight from within populated civilian towns.
Secondly, Israel has always been under attack from Hezbollah. While the group is mainly not a terrorist organization, they do have a terrorist wing that does kidnap Israelis on a regular basis. Israel has just said enough.
Thirdly, I do not believe Israel should have sent in ground forces to Lebanon. Air strikes were doing their job. Civilians were being killed (and still are) but that is always a fact of life in war time. Especially when Hezbollah hides with supporters who are often family with children.
Benefits to all this? Just one. Weaken Hezbollah to the point where they can not fight Israel and to return captured Israeli soldiers.
Is Hezbollah going to return the soldiers? Nope. They are in a holy war now and will fight to the death. This struggle will continue for months if not years.

Israel's attack was planned with other countries but not on the Israeli's part. Lebanon has allowed Hezzbollah to operate from their borders and kidnap and attack Israeli's for a while. Iran as well as Syria have been involved and the proof is in the rockets and weapons used on the Israeli's. There have even been Russian weapons used on the Israeli's. The reason this attack has occurred is because the Muslim's in that area have determine to destroy Israel and to destroy anyone who sides with her. They have a strong hatred.
I believe that Israel has the right to defend themselves and to defend their land.
This crisis in the middle east was predicted in the Bible and it will continue until Jesus return when Israel will be victorious.

Israel wants the total destruction of Lebanon with the blessing of the US. what ppl in the US don't realize is that they are lied to.
The media in the US is tampered with and filtered.
What makes me laugh the mos tis that we believe that our contry is a free one, but we're controlled by israel gvt and jews to the point that we can't think. It's brainwashing. ppl, WAKE UP, we need to realize that Israel is as a terrorist as any other terrorist organization.
Watch this video where you will learn the other side of the war.
