I'm not sure why there is one though. Maybe so people can't play for points or whatever.... ?

This is a business, and that is their business model. Work and you will get past it, I did, inside 2 months.

I suppose that it's to keep people from getting a zillion points in a very short period of time. Or perhaps this prevents people from spending way too much time here and suing Yahoo! for getting carpal tunnel. Dunno.
