im gonna try to put as much info as possible. so somehwere in april, i really like this girl. i even asked her out pretty stupidly. left a note and all. couple days later, shes in fl and leaves a text saying "she has too many thigns going on and she cant be with anyone righ tnow." now of course i was hurt but i didnt show it at all. i got better though throught my frosh year, but it just wasnt the same. we got really close again and i even began to like her. suddenly freakin today the worst possible thing happened. she just started dating htis other guy that she was really close too. and to think i had the chance? like i didnt care at first over the summer, but now i feel like crap that she didnt choose me and seh chose him. and this girl is like the first girl ive fell for this bad. shes amazing and its so tough saying for me to forget her. yea i made a promise awhile ago after she sent the txt, that if she goes out with someone else, i shouldnt give her a chance anymore. what do ido?

ok....1st off...she aint even all that worth it...because u seem like u would've been a great guy for her...and if she didnt realize that, thats her LOSS....u gotta find somebody that doesnt break ur heart and doesnt have u runnin around like a monkey in a damn cage....let her go...i kno u dont want to and it may take some time...but u have to.....it may be the best thing for u!...u need somebody who wants u jus as much as u want them..u kno?...best of luck boo....jus be patient...i was and i got exactly what i wanted

I'm not sure how old you are but if a teen you will look back in years to come a laugh about this. So many teens have even felt life is not worth living when they are in love a can not have that person. You will get over it. Don't be wasting your time been hurt when there is someone out there for you that won't do want she is doing. And that person is out there!! Feelings of hurt can bring you down to where you can end up in bed sick to your stomach. And just thinking about it will wear you down. The only thing i can suggest is to really try and forget. It is incredibly difficult to find people you like who also like you back. I think that as difficult as it may be for forget, try asking out another girl. Don't ask the prettiest girl you know, go for someone who is somewhat close to you, on the same level of attractiveness as you, and has expressed an interest in dating.
Even if you don't like her sexually, you may fill a role as the boyfriend and the pain of losing the first girl will lessen. I honestly think that the best couples are just that, couples. Not originally friends, but people who got to know each other for the sole purpose of being a couple. Friend-crushes rarely work out just because people don't like to date their best friends.

It may seem hard now, but you should go back to your promise. This girl sounds like she never liked you; and suffering over someone that doesn't even care about you is a waste of time and heart.
Obviously you have given your heart and soul to this girl, and she doesn't even seem to give a hoop; neither should you in that aspect. Just try to forget her, and don't go through life grieving for a lost love that is somewhat careless of your feelings. Try to give yourself a break from girls for awhile, then try looking for a better girl that will treasure your feelings.

What you do right now is realize that life goes on. If she comes back fine, but you need to know that there will be many amazing girls you will like and go out with. We all get our hearts broken, it's called life. In a few days you will get over it .

distractions distractions distractions!! you need a DISTRACTION! I know it's tough, and nothing anyone can say will take the pain away. But I promise you, as soon as you turn your head away from her and start seeing that there ARE other great girls out there, it will get easier. No, you won't forget her EVER, but you can come to terms with her. You are young, you have your whole life. Take a shower, comb your hair, go out with your boys and find those girls!

Keep your promise. She should have been up front with you from jump instead of that "has too many things going on and can't be with anyone right now" mess. Just leave her alone. You need to be with someone who's not going to play headgames with you.

Just forget about her the same sorta thing happened to me. Don't hang around her anymore cause it will just bring back all of those bad feelings.

Do your best to move on. I've been in a similar situation, here I am five years later and still no luck forgetting her. Get a good hobby and do whatever you can to stop thinking about it, go out with girls you wouldn't normally go out with.

Try to tell he how you really feel. Maybe even talk to some of her friends and ask them to help you.
