I have t-mobile, and want to up-grade my phone, but the phones are sooooo boring

It's because that is where they're designed and developed - Japan, Korea, China and Europe. The United States will always be almost 2 years BEHIND other countries when it comes to mobile phone technology.
That's just the way it is unfortunately.
If you want to upgrade your phone you can without having to renew your contract. Just buy an UNLOCKED GSM mobile and insert your T Mobile SIM card. You're off and running. I'm with T Mobile and I've been doing that for the last 4 years. There are tons of UNLOCKED GSM phones that can be purchased online without the need for contracts and what not.

y attack the poor chaps country guys, he's just asking a question.
well coming to the q i guess u have bad cell phone models coz 1stly u use a completly diffrent frequency(900 Mhz) while the whole world is using 1800 Mhz that means every cell phone company has to make a diffrent model for the usa.
2ndly ur service providers are not giving u good cell phones coz maybe ur not demanding consumers(u only call n text no mms etc etc)....am only guessing bout this point.

Because the USA sucks (also because mobile phones are a much bigger part of the culture in the UK and Japan, seriously you can't survive there without one.).

get a samsung t809. many other counties, mostly Korea, have very nice phones cuz, well they kinda work harder than americans. you can get the helio. but you have to go to korea to get. if you want (cuz i live in korea) a helio my bro has one and he doesnt use it anymore. the helio has 3d games, a movie player, canera, video playback, all that really cool stuff. But I like the t809 better. it's mp3 player, games, camera, video playback, bluetooth, and web browser. it's $149 with plan.

JAPAN... cuz all the phone companys release nicer phones in japan and sooner...
