We are too far removed from it and, so far as I can see, the only people making sacrifices are the servicemen and women and their families. We pay a little more at the pump. So what? During WWII, ration books were issued. Meat, butter, gasoline, etc. was rationed. A small sacrifice. We truly are a spoiled nation.
