It truly amazes me how many morons post on here. Claiming to know all, yet know nothing. consider the 1st post says the israeli's stole land from the "palestinians".
Israel was legally created out of the dismemberment of the Ottoman Empire at the end of World War I. The area was desolate – desert and swamp – with some small towns and a few inhabitants, many of them nomads.
The inhabitants, if they thought about it at all, considered themselves Syrians. T
he legitimacy of Israel arises from the Balfour Declaration issued by the British, who were given the mandate over the area by the League of Nations. Jews have lived in the country since Biblical times. The Arabs from the surrounding areas were lured to “Palestine” by the industry and prosperity that the Jews brought to the region. Envy, hatred, and religious fanaticism turned the Arabs against the Jews. In bloody outrages, horrible massacres, killings and rapes, the Arabs tried to dislodge the Jews, but were unable to do so.
In 1947, the British, having tired of the trouble and the bloodshed, resigned their mandate. That same year, the United Nations mandated partitioning of the territory. The Jews, though disappointed, accepted the partition. The Arabs rejected it out of hand and launched war against Israel. The armies of five Arab countries invaded the nascent state. Following the exhortations of the invaders, the Arab residents got out of the way hoping to return after victory was attained. They could then reclaim their property and that of the Jews, all of whom would have been killed or would have fled. That and that alone is the source of the Arab “refugee problem.”
Had the Arabs accepted the UN partition plan, there would now have been a state of “Palestine” for the last 58 years. They might have attained a similar level of prosperity, advancement, and development as Israel, which, small though it is, is today in almost every regard one of the world’s most advanced countries.
They might even had deserved the right to be called "palestinian".
No, I am not not jewish so keep your flame BS postings to yourself.

No, they are different people. In 1922 The British created a country of palestine as a new jewish state that included Jordan, Isreal, and the current West Bank and Gaza. The arab popluation in the area was dissatisfied with this british creation, so all of the land east of the Jordan River was turned into a separate country known as transjordan. There was never an acceptable deal for land between the palestinians and the jewish people in the area so when iseral was founded, the palestinians were left without a homeland. Until recently, the majority of palestinians have lived in jordan. With the creation of the new palestinian settlements in the west bank and the gaza strip, the palestinians finally have a homeland.

=============
1- This (unclesam111) who has just posted his rabbish is a big LIAR. In addition to the thwarted and distorted information he pasted, he says that the source is: UN.
I work for the UN in a section well-informed of every piece of liturature relevant to politics. I HAVE NEVER SEEN such lies.
2- Jordanians and Palestinians are not the same. Jordanians are the nationals of Jordan (East of River Jordan. Capital:Amman).
3- Palestinians are of two types: those who are still living in Gaza and West bank, and those who were evacuated by the Israelis in 1948 and 1967 wars.
4- the Palestinian evacuees mainly went to Jordan. They were given the Jordanian passport... but they are unloyal to Jordan. They see themselves belonging only to Palestine (Palestine here means: Israel + Gaza + West Bank). That's why there was the 1970 semi-civil war between the Palestinian guirrellas and the Jordanian army. They were tossed to Syria then to Lebanon. In lebanon, they formed gangs and caused the civil war in 1976.
5- in 1982, the Israelis swept over Lebanon and tossed the Palestinian guerillas .... and so on.
6- Jordan population is about 5.5 million. More than 3 millions of them (approximately 60-65%) are Palestinians holding the Jordanian passport.
7- The Palestinians in Jordan are very much hated by the Jordanians for many reasons:
a) They are of low conduct living among moderately conservative Jordanians.
b) They are causing troubles everywhere in the kingdom.
c) They are great nepotists at the expense of the real nationals. For example: Arab Bank was founded and is owned by a Palestinian ... almost 99% of its employees are Palestinians because its administration frankly says: WE DO NOT APPOINT JORDANIANS, though most of the clients are Jordanians, and all the premises and facilities are on the Jordanian soil. As for the remaining 1% of the employees, they are Jordanians who live in towns where we can hardly find Palestinians - on the purpose of attracting clients - not for the sake of their eyes.
d) Now, Queen Rania of Jordan never lived in Jordan before getting married to King Abdulla. She is Palestinian born in Kuwait in1971/1972 ... studied there and got BA from Egypt. When she was crowned after King Hussein died in 1999, we could see that almost 95% of the General managers, ministers and high rankings are either her university collegues, shool mates, relatives ... so on. ALL OFTHEM ARE PALESTINIANS.
NO WONDER then to see that 22 out 24 cabinet members are Palestinians who are almost the same age ... i.e. 34 years old.
FINALLY: THIS situation CAN NEVER GO TO THE END without rectification .... WHO KNOWS?!

Mostly.....most of the so called refugees in the west bank were Jordanian citizens before they rebelled and were expatriated. The other so called Palestinians originated mostly from Egypt with a few Syrians and some nomadic tribesmen thrown in for flavor. But that was the originals….. they breed like rabbits and the majority of them today were born in Israel.

The same? Are Californians the same as Utahan's? Are Canadians the same as Americans? How about Native Americans, are they the same as the offspring of the Europeans that migrated to the Americas? No, Native Americans are real Americans. White folks are the illegals. And I think if the White folks are not American Indians, they need to go. That would solve the illegal immigrate problem.

Steal their land, murder them in cold vain, force them to live under a brutal humiliating occupation, manipulate their basic rights, make them look like the bad guy and aggressor, destroy their homes, deny their refugees the right to return to their land, and escape all accountability for all this ...etc and now deny their entire history to land? ... and claiming the only thing that keeps them their is Israel/is generosity/charity!
what are you not capable of?
