I have slept with many men, and have been safe everytime. I call myself a slut, as that way when people attempt to degrade me by calling me that it backfires and there is no satisfaction for them. The same goes for other words that have been used to degrade women. My observation however, is that more women degrade each other by using those words then men do these days. Why do women feel the need to do that? Shouldn;t we be more united and not as judgemental as some men are? What exactly does the name calling and degradation do for women as a group? There is no positive aspect to it, so why does it continue?

I have every right to call myself a slut, as it is my right to call myself whatever i want to. I do not call other women sluts or anything else but women. So therefore I have every right to question why other women degrade each other by calling OTHER women degrading names.

You can call yourself whatever you want, most women call other women names even though they've probably been with more guys!! Way not to let them get you down!

It seems to be a perpetual degradation of ones self esteem.
It is very cyclic and if you are not gaining confidence or self worth from your actions, break the cycle and rise above it. Doing so will raise the bar for the standard of the general female population.

If you're going to call yourself a slut you have no right to question the reasoning behind any other women to call themselves or another woman a slut.

Because people are obsessed with pointing out the bad things other people do vs. the bad things they don't do. Our society is obsessed with judgement. It's sad. Imagine a world where we all practiced tolerance. As like me, no one would care what you do when no one is watching, as long as you're not hurting yourself or someone else.

I totally agree. I dont think other humans should degrade others by using sexual names like that. Its really your own business who you have sex with.
