Windows live messenger question?

how do i send files with windows live messenger i dont how to and do the person i am sending the file has to have 8.0 or it could have 7.5 and i could send files to him but the problem i dont know how to send files .

The other person should have the same version as you. They must have it set in their options to be able to receive files from you and then you can send files to them. Look around in the options the file send is like Ragu it's in there.

I'm sorry.. i understand you can't send files but you're confusing me. Do you mean you can send to people on 7.5 but not 8 (AKA Other beta)
