I have a paper route and this person screams at me every day and swears like a drunk collage dude. So today as "pay back" I didnt give her the paper. But it was just one day, so is that mean?

Let her have her paper, just throw it on her roof.

No, it is not mean. But you should tell her that she is rude...maybe she is drunk! Some people always treat others badly but there is no reason for it....It might cost you a little money but I would think about dropping her from your route...let her go buy her own paper...but be sure to explain it to your boss first.

Her screams don't hurt you. Pretend it is your mother telling you to clean up your room. If she paid for the paper, you must leave it. Try telling her to "have a good day." Saw a cartoon that said "say something nice to someone today, it'll drive them crazy."

Yes, she pays for the paper and your job is to deliver it. Why does she scream at you?
