i haven't been stalked but i have run into some weirdos. too many people looking for an 'instant' hookup.
i have a male friend that uses it as well and you'd be surprised at how 'quickly' he is invited to visit a person, given a phone number or suddenly offered the chance at a date. Most of the time we both receive a person's phone number after they send their intro msg.
He has ran across a few stalkers though. He will chat with them and suddenly the women are camped out each night looking for his return, and if he's MIA - they will send a nasty msg wondering why he didnt' sign on to chat with them. Almost as if they are a couple.
