Lost my temper regarding lack of choirs getting done while they are home for the summer

Do something special for your children and your wife. A nice apologetic card would be good. Gifts always brighten a day. Dinner out will always put a smile on faces. Don't be too hard on yourself. Everybody loses their temper on occasion. Good luck, and know that it takes a good man to recognize and admit he made a mistake in judgment.

Apologize. Just them know you were frustrated and lost your temper. Plan something very romantic for you and your wife to do tonight. Be creative, you'll get more points!

If you're going to be home tonight, have the kids spend the night with friends or family. Take her out to a nice dinner, or cook one for her. Light some candles and put a trail of Hershey Kisses to the bedroom. Toss some rose petals on the bed and in the hot bubble bath you'll be running her after dinner.

Just a suggestion...

Good luck and happy anniversary!

Lack of choirs? Your family sings or something?

Take your family somewhere special for some family time. Like an amusement park or out to eat. And later make some rules for getting chores done.

Hey, parents do that sometimes. Just apologize for whatever you said but let them know you still mean business about the chores. Take your wife out somewhere nice, tell her how much you love her and promise to try and stop yourself the next time the "jerk" starts to take over. All will be fine, I'm sure

You do have that right to vent about the chores not being done, but just apologize to them each separately. With your wife save her for last with a romantic evening ending with a big "sorry" written out with rose petals on the bed. Next take the kids someplace special and fun and explain to them about getting chores done. Let them know you love them, but you're trying to teach them resposibility by having them do them. Everybody deserves a day to go biszirk. It's only human.

You need to take control and be creative with the chores around the house. Obviously there has been no discipline in that department. If you had been a responsible parent, it would have not gotten to this point. The chores and the anniversary are two separate issues.......don't make them one. You probably need parenting classes since your kids have out smarted you!

I have the same complaint about a lack of choirs. I think maybe you have to start your own choir. The world would be a better place if there were more singing going on.

When you get home, have the flowers and box of chocolate ready along with a little handmade sign hanging around your neck, something like what a kid would make with string and paper. The sign should read Honey, I'm SORRY, and I LOVE YOU...
Good luck and happy anniversary..

Gather all your family and take them out for dinner at a nice restaurant (doesn't have to be fancy) then after the dinner, drop off the kids at a friends/relatives and spend some quality time alone with your wife.
