I think a more appropriate question would be what else could the Government do to make our own country hate itself even more. We're so divided among ourselves it's absolutely pathetic.
Ironic thing, I thought this Administration with it's ability to divide our Country so well - would go so far, that it would have actually brought us back together as a whole without realizing it.. but their evil plots have obviously worked in their favor and will continue to. Truly amazing.
9/11 AND IRAQ: And you freaking retards who keep saying 9/11 is why we're in Iraq. Iraq was not started as a war on terror. It was (supposedly) a mission to find some huge massive unseen weapons of destruction that had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11.
If Taco Bell sells you a burrito with a bomb in it, do you go invade McDonalds?! Freaking pull your head out!
Now people think we're there to save the country from rape and inequality, from water and electrical problems, from terror (that we brought there). We have our own problems. We shouldn't be there. We should be here. Health, housing, education, security at home. Get with the program.

If the US continue on its present foreign policy other countries will continue to hate us.
Why do other countries hate us? Is it our abuse of human rights as in Guantanamo? Is it that we use the terrorist situation to advance our own interests in the world? Is it because we support Israel? Is it that we are well off then other countries?
Well as for human rights, no one, I mean no one abuse humans more or worst then the Chinese. Sorry. I am of Chinese decent and I sorry to say that China is by far the worst anywhere. Don't believe me? Do a little digging and reading. After China comes small extremist Islamic group such as the Taliban. North Korea? How about abusing a whole country worth of people. Oppression and suffering is common day life there. Why don't other countries hate them? Perhaps they do but to a lesser extent. The US is more visible.
How about other countries hate us because we use the "fight the terrorist" to advance our own interest? To some extent, I believe it is true. But given the opportunities other country would do the same. Anyway, the US has been passive for many years concentrating on domestic affair. A navy battle ship, USS Cole?, got attacked by a terrorist group but we didn't go after them. We shot a few missiles and that was it. It wasn't until Sept. 11 when the US said, "That's enough!"
What is the interest that we are trying to advance? Make more money? Get more oil? Well in either case you can only get money and oil from developed countries. You can't get much money from a country that is constantly fighting and not developing. So is it good for other countries that the US is trying to make money off of them and get their oil?
Do others hate us because we support Israel? Ok, when and how did that whole situation in that area started? It was a very very long time ago. And the US is also supporting Palestine too. The US government gives millions in AID every year. Remember when Hamas took office and those millions stopped for a time... well that hurt the people of Palestine and so new channels had to be opened and those millions no longer went to the people of Palestine directly.
The US give more aid to developing country then any other country out there. And other country hate us. Why? I think it is because we are well off then other countries and that we are the super power of the world today. And when you are that big others get jealous and they want a piece of the action. So until we are not the great place where the majority of people want to come and live legally or illegally, the US will be hated by other countries. And keep Bush in office and other country will hate us more.

You sound desperate. This question is too easy too answer.
Its true that the US has many business partners, but hardly any friends. But to solve the problem you just asked the wrong question. Maybe that's the whole underlying problem, people (not only in the US) don' t ask the right questions, and if they get information, they get it from Fox and alike.
I think you should have asked: What did we do that made the world hate us? Consequently you should have asked: What can we do to be friends again? Those were not the questions, so i wont go into these but I think that if you want to have a view on the future, you need to have a vision on the past.

Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it or was it not
started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11,2001?
Were people from all over the world, mostly Americans, not brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan, across the Potomac from our nation's capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania?
Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't they?
And I'm supposed to care that a copy of the Koran was "desecrated" when an overworked American soldier kicked it or got it wet? Well, I don't. I don't care at all.
I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11.
I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start
caring about the Holy Bible, the mere possession of which is a crime in Saudi Arabia.
I'll care when Abu Musab al-Zarqawi tells the world he is sorry for
hacking off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling slashed throat.
I'll care when the cowardly so-called "insurgents" in Iraq come out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in mosques.
I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search of nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide bombs.
I'll care when the American media stops pretending that their First
Amendment liberties are somehow derived from international law instead of the United States Constitution's Bill of Rights.
In the meantime, when I hear a story about a brave marine roughing up an Iraqi terrorist to obtain information, know this: I don't care.
When I see a fuzzy photo of a pile of naked Iraqi prisoners who have been humiliated in what amounts to a college-hazing incident, rest assured that I don't care.
When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank that I don't care.
When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and fed "special" food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining that his holy book is being "mishandled," you can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts that I don't care.
And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled "Koran" and other times "Quran." Well, Jimmy Crack Corn and ---- you guessed it --- I don't care ! ! ! ! !
--"Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a
difference in the world. But, the Marines don't have that problem."

We are doing a good job but let me add a few more. Stop Iran and N Korea from getting nuclear weapons, killing Osama Bin Laden, sticking up for Israel, and calling the Kyoto Protocol what it is, a farse. That should piss off even more of the appeasers, the dictators, and weak minded countries even more.
