My mom and I are looking for a 2/1 or 2/2 apartment in the Davie, Fort Lauderdale area. We are great tenants, but money is an issue. An apartment near down town Ft. Lauderdale would be ideal. I need websites or tips. I’ve been to a bunch of sites already.

Also check out craigslist.org and local newspapers.
You can also search for apartments with income requirements.

In downtown areas there are various coffee shops, restaurants, shops that have pegboards for people to post up things like ads for housing. You can also find stuff on the boards at a local college/university forum. Also in the classifieds section of the newspaper.
