I've done similar things on a couple of occasions. Actually it isn't that hard. If you can find one or two other women to ride with you, this thing can take on a life of it's own in a matter of months.

So here is what I would do:

Gather as many riders as you can. Then ride, take some photos of the trip use digital. Accentuate the fun and the scenery. Now you are officially started. You obviously have a computer so make some fliers (if you don't know how send your email address to me through my profile). Now hit some bike shops in the area. 99% of the time they have a bulletin board and will allow you to post your notice. Have tear off phone numbers so interested ladies can reach you (Business cards will come as soon as you have a name). As soon as you get a dozen calls you are officially into the scene and you are into it up to your armpits. You will be planning trips, meetings, working on a club structure and the list goes on.

One thing I will advise you on, "be careful of what you wish for, you may get it". A club like this can be a lot of work.

If you are interested in joining , you might check out the Gold Wing Road Riders Assoc. There is a special interest group of women riders in that association.
Check out your state's Confederation of Clubs

Other then that, make a flyer and post it wherever lady riders go. The dealerships and shops, motorcycle friendly bars and restaurants.

that is so sexist, i'm gonna sue.
why can't we have an all male riders group? I'm starting the He-man women haters cllub and NO M'AM. I'll tell you why, cuz some chik will scream sexual discrimination.

just kidding.

i'm down for the cause, my homegirl has a female riders club.
contact her "professor" for some ideas

I've seen a number of all girl rider groups on myspace.com like chicriders and girlzunitedryderz. I'm sure you can meet riders in your area and start your own group through myspace.
Once you do, remember to add me to your list of friends (http://www.myspace.com/motorcyclegifts) because girls who love bikes are hot :P

Make some fliers and hang them up at motorcycle stores, and at lesbian bars. Also, if craigslist.org is big in KC, you can post ads there for free. It sounds so cool! Be safe.

goto: meetup.com, they have lots of different type of groups that you can arrange this type of thing. Maybe craigs list too. Keep in mind the different type of riding and bikes that women have. Street, off-road, sportbike, touring, etc. Make sure your getting the same type of riders, etc...

The women I met from this group were down to earth, no egos, and love their bikes.
