Positive + positive = positive
example:
2+2=4
Positve + neg= depends on the higher #
example:
2+-2=0 or you can write it this way...
2-2=0

2+-4=-2
or
2-4= -2

Multiplication

pos x pos= pos
posx neg= neg
negx pos= neg
negx neg= pos

example:
-2 x -2 x 4 = 16
why? because -2 x -2 is 4 and 4 x 4 is 16.

If you need more help, please ask me. I can help and have some very useful websites that might help you.
By the way, an integer is just another word for number!
Good luck!

I'm assuming you are adding, subtracting, multiplying, etc..

Adding
Same signs.....Add and keep the sign
Different...subtract the two numbers and keep the sign of the larger number w/o looking at the signs
ex: 6+-7= -1

Sub
Change the - sign to addition and the second integer to its opposite
Follow rules for addition after

Mult and Dividing
Mult or Divide
Same signs = a positive answer
Different Sign= - sign

neg times neg = pos
pos times pos = pos
neg time pos = neg
subtracting a pos = adding a neg
subtracting a neg = adding a pos
I think that covers everything.
