Of course, but be careful. Some guy tried to spend $100 worth of $2 bills at Best Buy and they called the police on him. Turns out the guy had been collecting them for a long time and finally deciding on spending them. Good thing he didn't pay in quarters.

Spend them or take them to the bank to trade them in. You may even be able to find someone who will buy them for a bit more than they are worth, just because they are a kind of novelty now.

You may find that some companies/stores will not take them, but most will knowing that the bank will provide for their value and destroy them appropriately. You could do the same thing if you care to, go to the bank and exchange them for $1's or higher if you have many of them.

They are considered legal tender so they can be used to make a purchase but not every cashier will recognize/be aware that they are legal since you don't see a lot in circulation.

I say hold onto it....if they ever stop making them, its value to a collector may increase later on.

I believe you still can use the $2 american bill, but if you are unsure and want to find out, just go down to your local bank and they will inform you there as well as exchange any money.

Indeed! I do not know if you would really want to. They are *somewhat* rare, but if you would rather spend them, feel free to do so! Just remember you may not encounter $2 bills regularly.
