i'm going to watch a soccer match with real madrid in it and i'm going to go to a big stadium.

This is my first time watching a big game in person.

Besides binoculars and camera, what else should i bring? Will the average game last up to at least 2 hours? etc.

You will enjoy it. If you are in Madrid, Bernabeu Stadium is a great place.
My suggestion take a camera with telephoto lens, if possible, and have steady hands otherwise the photos will be blurry. Do not take binoclulars. A normal camera set up for play action will be fine.
Always stay focus with whoever has the ball and try to visualize a circle of about 20 feet (7 meters), so you can see the dribbling and short passes.
When the ball is kicked away follow the arc of the ball, do not assume the ball will go a straight line. Whenever the players are within the penalty areas focus around the goalkeeper.

Consider taking a sandwich or soft drinks because the vendors will be occupied during half time and may not get to you.

The game will be two 45 minutes periods plus injury time and 15 min break in between. assume you'll be at the stadium for at least 2-21/2 hours

Best tip for watching the game at the Santiago Bernabeu:

Wear a Barcelona top. The fans at Real Madrid identify with the European Champions. Wear the colours of the Champions and you'll feel right at home.

Don't go round calling it soccer its football over here and people will get very offended. I would recommend booking in advance as the top teams sell out extremely fast. Watch what ever team you follow I guess? I would suggest Arsenal, they play well.

Homer Simpson said it best "I never knew how boring this game was without beer." See where I'm going with this!
