It is not too original but you could make it different by not going as a normal fairy, go as the tooth fairy, or Cinderellas fairy god mother or a bottle of fairy washing up liquid.

yes,we went to one at Baintree,they were all morris dancers, talk about the Sugar Plum Fairy, they are all attending a dance festival in Hyde Park at the end of august, go there and see how common it is.

its great fun to dress up,i really look forward to Halloween,my friends n i love to go out dressed up!!! for my 21st birthday i Had a fancy dress party and it was the best night ever everyone really loved it.don't listen to anyone else do what you want to do and enjoy yourself.

Depends what kind of faeries you are going dressed as!
Some faeries are cool...like...TINK...Tinker Bell from Peter Pan. I think her costume would be easy to make.
Any other faerie would be kind lame I think...
