none they would all fly away unless the one he shot didn't fall all the way out of the tree cause then there would be one dead bird left unless it was still in the tree and didn't die the one injured bird but i could do this all day! lol

Left alive? 69 out of the 70 if it was a fatal shot. It is possible for all 70 to remain but not all alive. Also, none might remain if, under normal conditions, the birds had access to fly away from the tree and would most likely do so if a loud enough noise was created from the weapon. OK?

Either 1 or zero.

If the shot bird stays in the tree, there is one bird left.

If the shot bird falls out of the tree, there are zero left because the other 69 flew away at the noise of the gunshot.

If you shot it with a slingshot and it didn't fall out you'd have 70 birds in the tree. The question doesn't have enough information to answer correctly.
