I was just sitting here and pondering some of the answers I got to my previous questions and, you're right, I guess I am trying to change people. I guess the fact is, I want to change the world to make it a better place for everyone. But I realize that I cannot change people or their opinions. I can only do my part and keep being the good person that I am. So thanks, you made me think about all of this and come to my realization. And yes I know this isn't a question.

You're right - that isn't a question and you cannot change the whole world. Don't be discouraged though. Our efforts can change just a little bit at a time - maybe not all people, but even changing the heart or mind of one person filled with hatred or ignorance makes a big difference.

Who says you can't change people or their opinions? People change all the time and not always because of their own efforts. Now I'm not necessarily saying that you should try to change people, but you could if you want to.
