I've been off the birth control since November. My cycles have not been normal. One month it was 35 days, the next 42, the last cycle was 37. My last period was June 29. Usually when I feel like I am ovulating, I start two weeks later, no fail. According to when I thought I was ovulating, I should have started on the weekend of July 29. It is now. Aug. 8. Since that weekend, I've been having PMS-like cramps. They are similar to cramps, but duller and a little different. I have no other pregnancy symptoms, except I seem to be peeing more often.
I took a test three days ago and it was negative. Should I just wait for the period to come or should I take another test soon? I hate this waiting.

I don't smoke or drink or do anything dangerous to the child. But I do take two prescriptions that I'm not sure will harm the baby or not.

Wait another few days and take another test. It could have been too early for pregnancy to register. It is not uncommon, however, for your cycles to be very irregular for the first few months off the pill, so hang in there. If you are not satisfied with the test results, or if you miss more than one period, go to the doctor so he or she can figure out what is going on with you.

You should probably test again in a couple of days. If the test comes back negative again I would schedule an appointment with your doctor if you do not start within a week and get a blood test done. Good Luck!

Go to the doctor honey! ! ! ! ! ! You will have cramps if you are pregnant. And if you are peeing more often it could be because there is something putting pressure on your bladder....OTC Pregnancy tests are not always accurate. I say go to the doctor and get a test! They are NEVER wrong. What are you waiting for? I hope you don't smoke or drink!

Take another test in a couple of days and ask your Dr. or pharmacist about the two meds, better safe than sorry.

Good luck!

I would wait another 5-7 days and then take another test. Be sure to take care of yourself in the meantime.

Just wait for it. Is there any likelihood that you would change some behavior now if you knew you were pregnant? If so, do that change, but otherwise you can keep on living normally. If you have nothing for another month, and then two months, you're almost surely pregnant.
