I think that in the common fantasy-land, two girls fooling around can be perceived as a hot deal (if they are hot and sexy) for almost any person. But a male male interaction will be hot only to another gay guy (and maybe some ladies)
But in the real plane, the acceptance of a gay condition is more favourable for guys (I think).
This isn't based in any real investigation or poll :P

You do realize this is not the only double standard, right?
Girls always get screwed in the double standards. If a girl sleeps with a few guys she's a slut. But a guy who sleeps around is a stud. A single mom is looked down on, but a single dad is a hero.
Its about time girls came out on top in a D.S.
Beside who wants to watch guys make out when you can watch girls get it on? I know I'd go for the girls!

It is no different for males to have odipiedous complex only females now feel comfortable in exploring their sexuality. You can state your viewpoints but face it if you were in a releationship with someone you would not want to explore your sexuality with a same-sex partner while you were with them your releationship would almost certainly end in a firing sequence of anger and pain. It is now just more socially acceptable then in past years. Women kissing and loving one anothers body is often a male fantasy but when a woman says she has been with another woman the male often finds the sexual liberation of the female more enticing thus those who have and prefer males will often incinuate it...and yes as a univesity student I tested the waters myself self-exploration is very helathy and common especially when so many decades you are told what a woman and man are to do. In the end my exploration grounded my sexuality satisfaction with males and I find the female form to be attractive in art as in life but I love being with men. I am not Bi or Gay I am a liberated female who can compliment another womens body without suffering ill effects of sexual undertones.

This is a great point. I have experimented with females for many years - always sexual - never felt any emotions. I cant imagine falling in love with a woman . I really enjoy what a woman can bring to the bedroom sexually. A woman is gentle, sensual, and has to pay much more attention to the foreplay rather than the sex. The foreplay is longer and tongue becomes her tool. I dont consider myself bisexual because no feelings are involved except multiple orgasms for both of us.

I think boys and girls can both experiment and shouldn't automatically be considered lesbian, bi, or gay. It's just your personal preference. And being bisexual isn't a trend, though a lot of people do it just to please the opposite which makes some stupid kids follow it to be a trend (such as one girl making out with another to impress a boy she likes).

because guys think it's hot!
No seriously, I read in Cosmo about female-female relationships and the psychologist (psychiatrist?) they were interviewing said it was because the female-female friendship is much more affectionate and open in general than the male-male friendships. Girls hug each other all the time, they try on clothes together, talk a lot, and are there for each other emotionally. They are just much more open about things I guess.
I don't know, I probably screwed up the information somewhere.

Most men have had sex of some sort with another man. Are they all gay? If you really haven't done anything with another guy, you are the exception. I don't think the category of straight or bi or gay means anything in the true realm of human sexuality.

It's all about how the straight men in this society view it as....more men enjoy women/women....it is for them repulsive to even think about men/men....and men/men is not ancient as women/women.....it was always an hidden thing....and female/female was entertainment for men more than being "lesbian". Women are more open minded about changes...men are reluctive to accept changes among their kind...when actually some men are changing and becoming feminine and attracted to other same men.
I don't think there would be a time when straight men would enjoy gay porn....but more women are starting to like gay and lesbian porn.

I think the whole "bi" thing is just another way for kids to try to fit in. If it's Okay for girls to experiment, it's Okay for boys to. This stuff has been happening for hundreds of years. People just feel the need to share intimate details of their lives more today than in the past.

I really dont know, even though Ive always wondered that. Its like, if a girl kisses another girl, thats considered "hot" or "sexy", but if a guy kisses another guy, hes automatically gay. U ain the only one who's thought of that.
