does any body no where theres a emulater so that your cd drive acts like a dvd drive

No go. But Alcohol 120% will emulate a DVD drive on your hard drive... trouble then is getting the DVD's into a ISO format Alcohol can read.

you can't make you CD drive act like a DVD drive because what needs to be changed is the laser that reads the disl(software can't do that)
there programs that can simulate a DVD drive from your pc-- like Virtual Deamon

No such thing, sorry. It's not simply a matter of software, it's the actual hardware utself.............
