girls love this movie because it helps us fill what we need in the romance department. Can you guys imagine what your lives would be like if we didn't get the romace from movies like the Notebook? Stressful thats what they they would be. We would put that much more pressure on you to get us flowers, read us a story from a book, climb up a ferris wheel and hang there just to get us to go out with you.
So the next time a girl wants you to fo to a mushy movie with her think of is as you getting off easy.

Firstly, Ryan Gosling is a hot biotch. He's romantic, charming, fulfills his love's wish for a dreamhouse, and towards the end of their lives, he never leaves his wife's side. He never ever does, either, because he made a promise that he would always be there for her. Girls like this because they want a guy who would do all the things he did to Ally.
ANYWAYS, I liked the movie at first, but when you watch it again, the characters never seem alive and it is just another Hollywood movie.

Because its based on a true story of love and how love between two people should be. To feel that way for someone and to not give up is true love which doesnt seem to be around much these days.

It's the best romance I've ever seen! It's a great story, and it's really sad too. Also, Rachel McAdams and Ryan Goseling are really good actors!

Because it is one of those films that is honestly romantic without being sappy or maudlin.
They wish that all love could be like that.
It even made me tear up at the end.
