This country was founded on people leaving other countries (mainly Europe) to create a business for themselves. So some of the laws may be different, but the drive is still the same regardless.
I have no difference between yahoo sites....all your questions you have answered or asked on your account don't show a thing saying "UK yahoo".
So I clicked on the UK flag at the bottom of the screen to see what questions were available there.... and I got
"How to start a city bus service in Louisiana?
Asked by vincelshaw - Small Business - 2 seconds ago"
Apparently yahoo has combined the English speaking sites regardless of where in the world you are.

Didn't know this was a UK site. On my computer, it simply shows up as an English language site, and there are participants from around the globe.
It's usually very apparent who is from US and who is from UK (and who is from India, or Malaysia, or Australia/New Zealand etc.) from the context. There are a few areas where there are differences -- dollars vs. pounds or Euros, imperial vs. metric measurement, but on the whole, I enjoy reading the questions and comments from participants all around the globe. Limiting this to US or UK would be very dull. And what would you do with Canadians, who are somewhere in between?

It seems to me it goes both ways. Lots of people from the UK and US on both sites as well as Indians, Africans etc. The world is smaller now. Gotta figure out a way to navigate it, develop a new skill.

Hi! There seems to be a lack of people from Yahoo! UK asking/answering any questions - and Yahoo! dont want it to look as if they have nobody interested.

Is there a seperate UK site? I didn't even know. Maybe all the questions under "all categories" are not seperated, so they don't know it's a UK question?

I thought we were just an extension of the USA, where they lead we seem to follow.
They closed an Oil Pipeline our Petrol goes up.
They go to War we follow
They introduce a UN resolution we sign it
Bush says jump, we say how high.

Because, they share the same questions.
You know, they are different sites, but when you post a question, they appear on all of them, except the alternate language ones.

My Yahoo sometimes just goes to UK automatically and I'm not quite sure why. Then I have to switch to www.yahoo.com and still, as the others say, it automatically includes the UK unless you specify that you want the US only.
