My stomach has been very irritated lately. I've had diarrehea for two days now and anything I eat makes my stomach hurt. I am 35 weeks. Is this normal, or is it that my system is going wack?

Two of my friends had diarrhea prior to going into labor. I'd call your doctor and just check. I dont know how your weather is out there but its been pretty hot around me and i know that sometimes can cause my stomach to act up.

Dont risk it tho, call ur OB/Gyn and get seen.

Congrats on the baby!

Everything sounds normal but you should consult with your ob just to make sure. If that is the case you should drink plenty of fluids to ensure that you are hydrated due to the frequent diarrhea. I am having a similar prob except I am only 10 weeks. Watery fruit usually calms my stomach. Try the fruit diet to see if it works. Good luck and I envy you for being 35 weeks. I am catching hell with this one already and I have 30 weeks left. lol.

This happened to me as well. It's just that you get blocked up every other day and all the pressure+diarrhea. The reason your stomach hurts is because the baby is taking up so much space your stomach empties itself very slowly into your bowels. You will be fine,If it continues and you start to throw-up consult you doctor you may have a stomach virus.
You only have 5 more weeks to go!
Good luck and God bless!

i heard an old wives tale that this is your body cleaning itself out before the baby arrives. (you do know that pushing in labor is the same muscle as taking a poop right?) And think ofit this way, your stomache is senstive and doesn't need you piling onmore work while it's trying to do it's own. Stay away from heavily spiced foods, most heavy foods such as large amounts of meat and carbs. it sounds like indigestion try some tums. Even burping can help. I know i used to raise my arms behind my head to give my stomache more room to digest.

and congratulations! you are almost done!!!

It's really very common to have upset stomach or diarrhea before you go into labor.

If I were you, I'd get that bag packed, sister. You might have a baby soon!

Good luck!

It sounds kinda like Irritable Bowel Syndrome, but I dont know, its probably just associated with the pregnancy. I bet you'll go back to normal, but it might be wise to get it checked out.

and you are beautiful.

It sounds like you just have some kind of virus. If I were you, I'd just take it easy, avoid spicy food and take tums regularly for the next couple of days and if it persists, I would see a doctor.

Probably normal, although it could be that your body is starting to move into final phase. Put yourself on a bland diet and see how you do, and mention it to your dr next time you get a chance.

You could have a stomach virus because I had them a couple of times in my preganacy. Or it could be just something you ate just didnt agree with you. If it keeps on I would call your OB because you could dehydrate. GOOD LUCK!!!

normal...it is nerves and also the uterus pressing on the bowels... try not to eat to much a few days be4 ur due date as a result in possible feces passing when pushing during birth
