a trojan virus...not horse. teehee. well you cant get the virus if you dont click on the link. if you do click it and it starts to spread (i.e. every person on your buddy list will suddenly have an open im box with that same message in it) you need to shut down your computer immediately (just hit the power source) to stop it from spreadin to anyone else. your going to have to go buy an antivirus program to quarantine and delete the virus. then you may want to look into reformating your computer just to be safe.

Once the virus is in, that's it, I believe. Probably have to get a new hard drive.
I would never open anything sent as a file.
I got a virus like that once. Yahoo took care of mine.

Yo man, don't post links to a virus site, it's just not cool. People may click on it and then get ******.

As for your problem try using symantec antivurus or something similar.

I wouldn't be exactly sure how you would get rid of this but you can try downloading Avg antivirus software. It works really well.
There is a whole spyware/adware/virus section at download.com and you could try some of their downloads out and see if they fix it. I hope you get rid of it.
