How do you get on the ghost ship? I know this sound pathetic but I can't get on the ghost ship. How do you get on? I have the chart and I am at the right island what do I do? The ship is in front of me.

once you have the chart use the song of passing on one of the islands it appears at until it comes. Then make sure u have grappling hook on one of the slots and sail into the ship
Note: to get the song of passing go to windfall island and go to the grave stone with the man dancing in front of it, go as close as you can to him and pull out your Windwaker, a cutscene follows in which the man shows you how to play the song of passing which is Right, Left, Down

I agree you need the song of passing but you need to be on the right island to use it and get on the ghost ship.
-You first need to go to Diamond island. Go inside and complete
the maze to get the Ghost Ship Chart. Look at the map and see how many times the moon needs to change to get to diamond Steppe Island. Play the song that changes night into day and vice versa and wait on Diamond Steppe island for the boat. Make sure your on the highest point of the island, use your grappling hook to get to higher ground. When the Ghost ship comes..get on : )

But it disappears when you sail into it! I have the same problem!!!

sail over to it. and then you will appear inside.
