you could use what they call a "network hub". It's a simple device that uses one Categor 5 cable (that's what is used to connect to the internet via DSL & hi-speed) and allows multiple computers to use it, kinda like at TV splitter. They vary in price, and in number of jacks, anywhere from three to 15 connections simultaneously. you can buy them at any tech. store, like Best Buy, CompUSA, Circuit City, RadioShack, or even eBay.

get a router........or else u can get a USB to LAN card or even a PCMCIA to LAN card to add another network interface card to ur setup, and enabling you to set up networking and internet connection sharing......

Get a router. Or even a wireless router and a couple wireless cards (if your laptops do not wireless built in already).
