If you read the bill it goes something like this...
currently if your estate is over worth over 4 million dollars, you have to pay a 30% tax on that estate.
Under the new Bush plan, if your estate is worth over 8 or 10 million (I forget which), you will have to pay the 30% tax.
So basically anyone who inherits an estate worth 4-8 (or 10) million dollars will no longer have to pay a tax. And this is a tax break for the working man how?
We can give tax cuts to oil companies who have record profits, people with 5+ million dollar estates all while the ACTUAL (adj for inflation) buying power of Americans is falling.....

The estate tax cut would only affect you if your estate is worth in the millions of dollars. Either these other people who answered this question don't really understand the bill or they're in the tiny wealthy minority of the population. I bet it's the former.
Waitresses, coal miners, IT administrators, and bus drivers will not get any benefit out of this tax cut. The wealthy who back the Republican party really have great propaganda, judging from the other answers to this question. (Not really surprising, since they own the media companies.)

Working class, my a@@ - stop whining and get a job! Then you'll be working class, just like EVERYBODY else who gets up in the morning goes to a job: waitress, CEO, coal miner, IT administrator, bus driver, etc.

I have an inheritance. I don't know why you think that an inheritance means you are rich. I am the furthest thing from rich. It just means that my grandparents were SMART with what little money they did have.
Get over yourself.
