Yes. Biggio is simply amazing. He has been an incredible offensive force at second for his career. His career stats aren't that impressive until you compare him to other 2B's during his career.
Bagwell was simply the best first baseman in the NL for the 1990's. His stats fall short only because of the Astrodome. If you look at his OPS+, it is 150, which puts him in the range of Mike Schmidt, Ralph Kiner and Willie Stargell. His injuries hurt, but if they had built Enron Field a couple of years earlier, we wouldn't be having this discussion. He is certainly better than Eddie Murry or Rafael Palmeiro. Before the steroid thing with Palmeiro, you wouldn't find many people(besides me) arguing that they didn't belong in the Hall.
As for championships, that is BS. Don't give players extra credit for having a great GM.

Bagwell: no. If he would have stayed healthy and gotten 500 homers; then yes. He is under .300 and has 449 homers, with zero championships (for his career). Almost, but not quite headed to Cooperstown.
Biggio: yes. For a second basemen he has great stats... over 400 steals and 274 homeruns with over 1,100 rbis. batting ave. isn’t the greatest with .284 career, but played 19 seasons (maybe even more after this season) and all with the same team. If he plays one more season he will get 3,000 hits, and that will pretty much insure him to be in the HOF. Like Bagwell, no rings either... but I feel for a 2b he is solid as they come.

Biggio is the only player i remember that went from catcher, to 2nd base, then to the outfield, and back to the infield, and have success at every position. He will definitely go into the hall of fame. I have always liked jeff bagwell, but i really don't know if he will get the votes that are required to get into the Hall of Fame

Biggio and Jeff Bagwell are headed to Cooperstown. Eventhough they probably both "juiced" it up back in the day.

I definetly think Biggio is headed to Cooperstown especially with a couple of more good seasons. Bagwell is borderline because of his injuries lately. If he can come back and have another good season or two I think he will too.

Yes...Biggio will eventually get 3000 hits which is a lock and Bagwell was the best first baseman during the time he played. They may not make it on the first ballot, but they are locks for the hall of fame.

I think they both make Cooperstown. Biggio will get his 3000th hit shortly so that's his ticket. Bags has been a great player on a less than great team for his entire career. I figure if Kirby Puckett made it with a shorten career so should Bags.
