Degrees are 350 and 300. Which would cook the eggs faster in 20 minutes?

Eggs boil in 8 minutes and if you turn up the temp the inside yoke would get nasty.

You're strange.

1. The water should boil at about 212 degrees and not get as hot as 350 or 300, unless you're using a pressure cooker.

Funny question. 20 minutes is 20 minutes. Your eggs will be overcooked.

Water boils at 212 degrees. After that, it turns to steam. You cannot heat liquid water to 300 or 350.

Heating a skillet from 300 to 350 could help you reduce frying time, but depending on the type of egg you are preparing, you will need to pay a lot of attention to the eggs to keep from scorching them.

If you are making a baked dish, there are other concerns which will affect temperature.

The question is not rational. Water heated above 212 degrees Fahrenheit or 100 degrees Celsius becomes vapor, and therefore would no longer be making contact with the eggs (it would evaporate away.) If you're trying to steam-cook your eggs, the 350 degree heat would cook them faster, but I can't say I've ever heard of egg-cooking being done that way.

Of course 350 degree will cook the eggs faster but 20 min is TOO much.

You DO NOT want to cook eggs at a temperature higher than that at which water boils, unless they are no longer in the shell. The risk of exploding exists.

From what I've learned in my chemistry classes......and i 've had lots........when you boil an egg, it changes because there are chemical reaction taking place.
It is also known that higher temperature, usually speeds the reaction, but you also have to take in consideration the fact that pressure also influences the speed.
And since you can't make water to boil at 300 - 350 degrees at normal pressure........

Water boils at 212 F period. The only way to get it hotter is boil off the steam and raise the temperature of the steam. You'd need equipment not commonly found in the average kitchen.
