Rule of thumb, is 100 pounds, plus 5 pounds for each inch above 5'. Which would be 115 for you. I've found it works for me. Sometimes I'm more, sometimes less, but at 5'6", 130 is the top of where I feel and look good. I don't have a clue whose "rule" this is. So I suppose it's very unscientific.

Check your BMI(body mass index)to find out. I think the healthy range is about 105-120 but I'm not sure. Good luck!

I am that height and I think that somewhat less than what I currently weigh would be good. I am shooting for 120, because that allows for sufficient muscle mass for me to get all my work done, without having to carry around excess poundage.

well, I am 5'5 and weigh 128 lbs. I think that I am over weight by at least 15lbs.. If guessing I would say 110lbs with muscle tone.

same height i asked the doctor she said between 105 125 is good and it depends on how big ur bones are

i'm 5ft 4in and im 110 pounds and it says im ideal weight so i'd say between 100 and 110 pounds
