I think that you may be confused. Yogurt is used for a yeast infection and cranberry juice is helpful for a UTI. Cranberry juice just help with prevention. If you have a UTI, you really need to go to the doctor for treatment.

Yogurt replaces the normal flora (bacteria) in your system. This normal flora kills unwanted bacteria in your system (that which causes the UTI)- yogurt is more often used with yeast infections, however.

For UTI's, it is best to flush out your system drinking lots of water and lots of pure cranberry juice (not the kind from concentrate, or with added sugar).

hi i am a nurse i think you have got a bit mixed up, for a uti you must drink plenty of cranberry juice, and you use live yogurt for thrush
