Christian teachings talks everytime about love......loving yourself, loving your family, loving your work, loving your friends, loving your neighbors, loving nature....all about that love is 100 % giving out and not 50-50. It is unchristian to say "I love you as long as you love me or as long as we can get along well together" however, there is also love in accepting it wholeheartedly when someone you love does not love you back specially in romantic love.
If you are asking about love in its physical acts such as what married couple do...maybe the best to consult is the book on "Kama Sutra" but it is not by Christian teachings but by Hindu.
Christian sites may only tell you about the respects, the caring, the understanding and listening from each other.
The Hindu "Kama Sutra" helps you learn the art of making physical expression of love. It could be considered obscene by the Christians but for the Hindu it is not totally true but rather it teaches even those who have physical disabilities or limitations enjoy love making.
