Is it true that he is really big on devil worship or is that just a rumor? I don't listen to him much and I haven't seen any music videos or anything so if you could please tell me what's up with him. thanks.

No he's not. He comes across like that. There are a lot of rumors about Marilyn Manson...most are untrue. There is a website that he answers the "rumor" questions to settle the strange thoughts once and for all. As far as having some of his ribs removed to perform oral on himself. NOT TRUE! The scars on his stomach/rib cage is from him cutting himself with broken beer bottles when he was unable to feel emotionally so he went to the extreme physically. He was numb inside.
He just likes the attention and being a "devil" worshipper is so lame. He's an unique individual and he is suprisingly intelligent. He is mainly an artist...nothing more.

Marilyn Manson is a very educated man but none the less he worships Satan. He is a masochist and loves the darkness of the world. There is a clip of him standing at a podium tearing pages out of the bible and throwing them. Also he removed his own lower rib so that he could please himself if you know what I mean. Don't listen to him. He has messages in his music that will depress you and lead you into the darkness. May God bless you and keep you.

MM is portrayed as someone who is a devil worshipper because all of these christians are like *gasp!* OMG HEAVY METAL.
and he also acts strangely but i dont see how that is any different from alice cooper biting off a chickens head on stage.
so yeah it is a load of crap, and his music isnt in any way satanic. he just acts strangely because i likes to get a rise out of these people who believe everyone should be the same. (boring people in other words)
and no he didnt remove his own ribs to suck himself off, that was a huge rumor that is not true, even if it was, big deal. also he didnt get breast implants that is a rubber suit.
about the pages ripped out of the bible that isnt an act of satan. there is not satan or god. he is just showing that the bible is a load of crap that is all.
you christians who keep judging the music, try and listen to it before you bicker about how it is evil. you will find that he sings about how people do drugs and it screws them up and how they shouldnt do it. stuff like that.

it shouldn't matter if he does....you'll either like his music or you won't. if you judge what someone does before you hear their music then you're already making a premeditated decision before you even give it a chance. Personally, i enjoy his older music, it was really good, not a big fan of the new Manson. For future referances, if you're actually a TRUE music fan....don't let someone's background determine whether or not you like their music...usually an artists music will tell the story for you in a much more beautiful way.

It is possible he actually worships the devil or it's also quite possible he's just doing it to rattle some cages. He seems like the type that would say something or do something just for shock value.

I am not familiar with his music but I caught him on tv in an interview,very impressive,intelligent man, not sure about the devil stuff,doubt it,he is my favorite character in mtv's celebrity death match and in that video game he is satanic

If you have to ask that question, you probably wouldn't understand the answer. Do some reading about him if you really want to know. He explains his position in interviews far better than anyone here could.

I am not for sure, but he is one strange cookie, worshiping the devil or pretending to worship him is sick! I think he does it for the shock value.

Last I heard, he is a Christian. All the "Satanic image" is hype, to sell CDs, and fill concert halls
