Now, Tinks, to answer your question... Israel is attacking Lebanon because Lebanon gave aid to a terrorist group called Hezbollah, this terrorist group recently kidnapped and killed a couple of israelis.
The conflicts originated way before this episode, but the episode ignited the recent war that started about 25 days ago.

Israel isn't at war with Lebanon. The Israelis are trying to stamp
out Hezbollah,a Muslim terrorist organization that ignited this
conflict by kidnapping two Israeli soldiers. Some say invading
Lebanon is an extreme reaction, but you have to remember Israel
is a nation-state that has been surrounded by enemies wanting
nothing more than to eradicate it since 1948. As a result, the Israelis are hardasses because they have to be. Kidnapping their
soldiers is bound to provoke an extreme reaction,as the Hezbollah
found out the hard way.
It's just too bad innocent people have to suffer and die because of the intolerance of others.

Hezbollah is a Lebanese Islamic group, formed in 1982 to oppose Israel's occupation of Lebanon. Hezbollah (supposedly) kidnapped two Israeli soldiers, which (supposedly) started Israel's fighting Hezbollah. What most people don't know, and what US papers aren't allowed to say, is that the Israeli soldiers were in Lebanon, not Israel, when they were captured.
So (on blind faith alone), we are suppose to back our president's backing of Israel. If most Americans knew ALL the facts, they would not advocate Israel OR Bush's reasoning for backing Israel. Don't ever think the US media isn't controlled by politics. If you want the truth, get it online from foreign sources that report ALL the news. Try---www.worldnetdaily.com---
Many Americans grow tired of Bush's rhetoric regarding Israel's right to defend itself. When Israel kills hundreds of Lebanese citizens (1/3 which are children), it speaks of genocide, not defense. And Bush (and us), are backing it? This puts the US in more danger than ever. Then there are reports that Israel warns the Lebanese citizens to get out of harms way, but what isn't reported by the US media, is that Israel then blows up the roads & bridges that would make escape possible. Genocide? That is why the United Nations Security Council sent in the 4 UN members-to investigate the atrocites against Lebanese civilians by Israel. Those 4 investigators were then killed by Israel bombs. Israel says the bombing against the UN investigators was accidental, but according to world news reports, Israel bombed this area 14 times before they "accidently" hit their mark. What is Bush thinking? Backing this Genocide? This reflects on all US citizens. And puts our lives at great risk. That is exactly why you will never get all the facts in the US media. Sad, isn't it? That we can't get all the info we need to make our own decisions about whether Israel should be backed by our tax dollars. Talk about media manipulation!

Two Israeli soldier's were kidnapped. Israel retaliated with bombing most of the major highways, bridges and many airports. Sounds like they over reacted to me.
It seems Israel can't get along with any country they don' t own a big piece of already. They've abused the Palestinians (remember when the apartments were bombed in the Gaza Strip, only because they didn't buy building permits from Israel?).
And now they use Hezbollah as an excuse to kill Lebanese women and children. They're murderers and no better than Hitler in my book as well as many of their neighbors.
Many God have mercy on their souls.

Israel does NOT hate Lebanon. They were great allies for many years. It is Hezbollah (aka hell's lackeys) who are causing all the fuss. Israel would like nothing better than for Iran ans Syria to stop funding Hezbollah (aka, Satin's children) and let Lebanon and Israel have normalized relations. IF Lebanon would get some balls and kick Hezbollah (aka worthless scum) out of their country, Israel would most likely even help rebuild.

It's Hezbollah they are fighting. And it's been going on for a long time. I don't think they even know what they are fighting about anymore. It just seems to be breeded hate handed down from generation to generation.
