maybe because instead of us all being individuals they want us tiobe a "united kingdom" ie all the same.

First of all..because it's the World Wide Web...so knowing the country can be important. Many people seem to forget people using the Web..or even Answers...are not local to our city, state or even country.
As far as the UK goes...here is more info. They do not necessarily have the total autonomy of separate countries.

The United Kingdom is the Official name of the Country. Each section is part of that.they are no longer recognized as separate countries by the rest of the world.
Hence why you travel under a United Kingdom Passport

its just bcoz, england, scotland, ireland and wales are the one that we called UK as in united kingdom, so the kingdom of england, scotland, ireland and wales become united as one. im not frm UK so correct me if im wrong.

pls dont confuse our american friends,or other people, ireland is NOT in the UK.
ireland is always in these lists otherwise not available for sale to ireland or whatever the case maybe.

particular companies doesnt like human beings jogging in, so they use this stunt of P O the place, we in basic terms positioned up it.. they might have have an association with the positioned up workplace to have the unique field for them, thats y the po no. and the relax handle is theirs.. dont concern my chum.
