I'm looking for a single word that would describe a woman who hates men the way the word misogynist describes a man who hates women.

landkm is right and old lady is wrong.

Misandry is the correct term for hatred of men, although the word is very rarely used. So the term for a woman who hats men is misandrist. The commoner, and probably preferred term for this however is man-hater - even though it sounds crude it is simply the case that it is now the more standard english.

The word for hatred of mankind is misanthropy, not misandry.

Interesting question! The part of misogynist that refers to women is 'gyn' (as in gynecologist etc.) and the masculine equivalent of that is testicular, so perhaps the word mistestynist might fit. (And THAT should drive the spell checker crazy!!) but there's nothing in my dictionary that refers to hating men. But then, the dictionary was written by a man and he possibly never thought that such a thing could exist..... ^-^

Sorry, Landkin, but that word refers to a hater of mankind, in the generic sense of hating everyone, not just males.
