I found out i need to have my left wheel bearing replaced on a 200 Alero. The estimate was $320. Is this too high for this service?

Seems about right for a place who is not about to give you a price break.

No, it is not too high. It may be on the upper scale of normal, but when you consider how much work is involved and the price of the bearing, this is a standard charge.

Well I just had my front right bearing replaced on a '96 Blazer and it was 206 dollars. I guess its just expensive.

not for the front wheel bearing. if its in the rear i would be cautious. the fronts are alot harder to do
